You know the great thing about living in California?  There’s never really a bad time to fire up the grill all year round! 

I’m John Banuelos…the founder and owner of Sheepdog BBQ.  I’m a full time police officer, husband, father of three and an accidental entrepreneur. 

In 2009, I created an original recipe BBQ sauce and BBQ rub.  I began using them for all of our family BBQ’s.  The family loved it and couldn’t get enough of it.  I was giving away jars of sauce and rubs throughout the year.  Everyone kept pushing me to put it out on the market. 

In September 2013, I finally took the leap and…Sheepdog BBQ was born!  Since launch, we’ve expanded to a total of three unique BBQ rubs. Sheepdog BBQ has become an official Lumber Jack BBQ Pellet dealer.  I have also moved into local catering.  

You will never hear me say that my BBQ products are better than anyone else’s.  The great thing about BBQ is … all BBQ is great!  Be the HERO of your next BBQ and give us a try!
